She "maliciously" licked donuts later sold to other customers.

Police and health officials are investigating a video of Ariana Grande "maliciously" licking donuts at a California shop, AP reports.

On July 7, TMZ posted security camera footage from Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore. The clip shows Grande taking turns licking donuts with her new boyfriend, backup dancer Ricky Alvarez, before she says, "I hate Americans. I hate America."

A cashier tells AP that Grande didn't purchase the donuts that were licked, while the owner, Joe Marin, says that they were later sold to other customers.

"I didn't see who bought them because they were mixed [together]," Marin says to Us Weekly. "Somewhere out there the donuts ended up with a customer because that night we ended up selling out." Since Marin wasn't working that day, he only figured this out once he reviewed the security camera footage later on.

Grande posted a statement on July 8, saying that her "I hate America" comment was her getting “upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences it has on our health and society as a whole." She did not apologize for licking the donuts.

In other news, an Ariana Grande fan posing as Wolfee Donuts on Twitter apologized for launching the fake account and leading other fans on. "I have received THOUSANDS of tweets and dms asking me questions," the fan said. "What I have said could have a great impact on the company."
