In which the R&B singer channels Michael Jackson in more ways than one.

Years ago, The Weeknd covered "Dirty Diana" and referenced producer Quincy Jones in songs. Now, he channels Michael Jackson full-stop in the Max Martin-produced "Can't Feel My Face." And its music video is further evidence: The Weeknd imitates the King of Pop with his dance moves during a nightclub performance, though the crowd (including model and actress Chanel Iman) is unimpressed. Only once someone throws a lighter onto the stage, engulfing the singer in flames, do people get up and start dancing. The scene recalls the far more disturbing footage of Jackson, getting burned while shooting a Pepsi-Cola commercial in 1984—a sight that still haunts its director to this day.
