It's glorious! It's beautiful! It's ACTUALLY HAPPENING!
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are back to reprise their roles at Mulder and Scully for the X-Files revival. And they're the latest cover models of Entertain Weekly's July issue.
In the new FOX series, our two favorite detectives of the paranormal back where they should be: investigating a bizarre case of alien abduction—we couldn't have it any other way. This is a big deal because the last we left them, in 2008's The X-Files: I Want to Believe, both Mulder and Scully were out of the game. She was a doctor. He was living off the grid.
“Mulder’s not in a great place,” Duchovny shared with EW. “He’s wearing bad jeans, so you can just extrapolate from my wardrobe. He’s in a dark, dark place.” Click here to read the rest of EW's exclusive.
The X-Files originally aired from 1993 through 2002 on Fox, racking up nine successful seasons, 202 episodes, two movies and a comic book series.
