Lil Wayne attended a "Stop the Violence" charity basketball game in St. Louis, MO Sunday night and managed to get in a fight with the referee.

The game had Lil Wayne's label Young Money competing against a team put together by the event promoter Loose Cannon Slim. TMZ reports the fight occurred after Lil Wayne disagreed with one of the referee's calls, leading the rapper to charge at the official and even spit on him. One of the many videos going around shows what happened next as Lil Wayne and his entourage followed the retreating referee into the crowd.

Hopefully the conflict gave attendees of the charity event a concrete example of why violence is never the answer.
