Looks like Kim Kardashian really paved the way for celebrities looking to get into the mobile game business. Britney Spears and Glu Mobile Inc. have announced that they'll be partnering for the development of a brand new mobile game starring Spears.

Although there are still no details on the actual premise of the game, we do know that the app will feature the voice, likeness and "creative influence" of Spears. The game, still unnamed, will allow fans to interact with the popstar and "experience the glitz and galmour of the entertainment business."

Glu has slated a 2016 launch for the app.

Spears actually isn't a stranger to the gaming industry: In 2002, she released Dance Beat, a one- or two-player game that featured Spears' catalog and likeness. The object of the game was to ace auditions in order to tour with Spears as one of her dancers.
