Circle the date on your calendar: August 6 will be the final day we'll be seeing Jon Stewart as the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central. 

Stewart announced his departure date on last night's episode of The Daily Show: "I will be wearing a suit. I will more than likely be showered... I'm sorry, I'll be wearing overalls and I won't shower. So I hope that you'll join us for that program."

Stewart hasn't made it clear what his plans are for his post-Daily Show life, although many speculate that he'll be focusing on directing movies afterward.
