Well, it's been less than a week since he quit One Direction, but 22-year-old Zayn Malik has already released his first solo song. Take a listen to "I Won't Mind" below.
The track is produced by UK producer Naughty Boy, whose studio Malik had visited over the weekend—much to many angry/sad fans' dismay, with many resorting to jabs at the producer's weight. And then there's this:
One Direction former bandmate Tomlinson is apparently peeved that the producer was seemingly bragging that he's working with Malik.
"I Won't Mind" is actually not bad—its heartfelt lyrics steal the spotlight, paired with minimal acoustic guitar. Naughty Boy responded to the outrage with a single tweet, "Let the music do the talking guys. thank us later. :) x"
