Oops?

Outspoken DJ/Producer Deadmau5 might not have appeared at this year's Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, but he's making headlines regardless. Sisterly duo Krewella performed a set on Ultra's Live Stage Sunday afternoon. Deadmau5, who was live streaming the event from home, noticed something was off: Krewella's equipment wasn't plugged in.

Deadmau5, of course, took to Twitter to call the sisters out, tweeting:

Following up with:

Krewella shot back via Twitter as well, stating "Thx 4 watching our stream @deadmau5! before u tweet maybe u should zoom in & see the USBs plugged in2 the CDJs/mixer:)," although it seems as if their publicist has declined to release any other official statement.

Never the type to not have the last word, Deadmau5 poked fun at their USB defense... a few... times...:

...You get the idea. (And yes, Deadmau5 specifies later, "Yes those are my panties btw. I wear what I want.")

Yeah, so, the electronic music scene has seen its fair share of accusations of all sorts of DJs who've gone, uh, unplugged live, including Disclosure and Justice, and Deadmau5 is not new to exposing any of this, confessing that they're all—including himself—button pushers anyway.

Two years ago, the DJ published a now infamous Tumblr post titled "we all hit play.," stating that "when it comes to 'live' performance of EDM... that's about the most it seems you can do anyway. It's not about performance art, it's not about talent either (really it's not). In fact, let me do you and the rest of the EDM world button pushers who fuckin' hate me for telling you how it is, a favor and let you all know how it is."
