In an interview with British GQStyle, Diplo describes Taylor Swift fans—that's Swifties to you—as "an army that's worse than North Korea." 

"All I know is don't ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift. She has like 50 million people that will die for her," the DJ/producer shared. "You can't step into that arena. That was something I was never prepared for ... one of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely fucking with her." 

While he seems sorta-kinda remorseful for starting unnecessary, Diplo also told (American) GQ this month, "Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can't divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And she's definitely, there's definitely scary stuff going on. And I'm scared. I'm scared for my life."

Back in November 2014, Diplo fired shots at Taylor Swift via Twitter, tweeting "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty." Not long after that, a Diplo fan actually created a Fundly page to crowdfud Swift a, uh, butt. 

While the "campaign" never raised more than $95, the damage was already done and tons of Swifties and even Swift BFF Lorde herself began lashing out at Diplo:

Diplo also discussed Lorde in his GQStyle interview (of course), saying "I can go head-to-head with anybody. I don't care who you are. I didn't go after Lorde because she's my friend and she's a young girl and the one person I kept it cool with."
