Oh my glob.
Warner Bros. is working with Cartoon Network to bring hit show Adventure Time to the movies. According to Deadline, the project will be produced by Chris McKay (who produced The LEGO Movie and will be directing The LEGO Batman Movie) and Roy Lee (producer of The LEGO Batman Movie).
Adventure Time is the Cartoon Network's popular animated series that follows a boy, Finn, and his magical dog named Jake. They live in a land called Ooo, there's a Princess Bubblegum and an Ice Queen and a Vampire Queen and a magical fancy Rainicorn that speaks exclusively in Korean. It's all as weird and wonderful as it sounds—and it could be the start of another successful animated film franchise for Warner Bros.
