The punk rock legends chatted with us ahead of their performance at this year's It's Not Dead Fest.

The Bouncing Souls have been playing good ol' punk rock since before some of your new favorite bands were old enough to hold a guitar.

The pride of New Jersey never had that "one big hit" that gets a ton of radio play and everyone knows the words to, but rather nine albums (three in particular) that their legions of fans know and love. But unlike so many punk bands that just seem to be incessantly angry and only know one speed, the Bouncing Souls' classic tracks like "Sing Along Forever," "True Believers" and "Hopeless Romantic" can be heard at everything from skateparks to weddings. At this point, frontman Greg Attonito has even expanded his range to visual arts, as well as tunes for an audience roughly the age of his fans' youngest children.

On a hot summer afternoon at the San Manuel Amphitheater during the legendary day of punk known as It's Not Dead Fest, Myspace chatted with the East Coast legends before they took to the stage in front of thousands of screaming fans. Watch the full interview below.
