From Air Jordans to Yeezy Boosts, here are 8 sneakers that should be on everyone’s holiday gift list.

It’s no secret among sneaker fans that the holidays are when some of the best kicks come out. Black Friday and the Saturdays leading up to Christmas tend to be extremely strong days for Nike, Jordan Brand, Adidas, and all of the other companies to release some of their most sought-after shoes.

2015 will be no different, with several noteworthy releases that sneakerheads will be hoping to unwrap this year. Here are the Top 8 sneakers coming out between now and Christmas. (Unfortunately, none of the NBA Christmas sneakers were formally announced yet, but those could be up there as well.)

Reebok Kamikaze II Mid “OG” (11/27 - $110)

If you’re looking for a vintage ‘90s basketball sneaker with enough style to wear casually as well, the return of one of Reebok’s most famous shoes is a (relatively) affordable and attainable option. Using a black, white, and green colorway modeled after Shawn Kemp’s run with the Seattle Supersonics, these kicks will definitely stand out from the crowd without bankrupting you like some Air Jordans will. Don’t wait too long though; they’re already in stores.

Nike Make Up Class of ‘97 Pack (12/18 - $385)

Speaking of vintage basketball, Nike is releasing a two-pack of shoes seen in the film He Got Game, and they’re sure to make a splash on and off the court. The star of the show is the white and black “Pearl” Air Foamposite Pro, but the Nike Zoom Hawk Flight pair that comes with them is no slouch either. It’s a lot of money to drop all at once, but getting two pairs of worthwhile shoes cuts the financial pain in half. If you’re really lucky, maybe someone will even get you the “He Got Game” Air Jordan XIIIs that returned a couple years back to complete the set.

Air Jordan VIII “Aqua” (11/27 - $190)

While most numbered Air Jordans are difficult to come by during the holiday season and will sell out immediately, recent trends say that as cool as the “Aqua” Air Jordan VIII is, it may still be sitting in a sneaker store in a mall near you right now. The longer you wait, the less likely you’ll be to find a pair of Jordan Brand’s Black Friday 2015 release, but if you strike out, there’s always the Air Jordan I “Cyber Monday” and Air Jordan VI “Maroon” still left to release.

Saucony Shadow 6000 “Irish Coffee” Pack (12/1 - $120 each)

Do you really need all three pairs of the eco-friendly company’s new pack? Probably not, but it’d be cool to have. At $120 a pair, it’s not ridiculous to pick up two sets, although we definitely do not condone mixing and matching kicks under any circumstances. If you need a sneaker that’s better to relax in (and possibly wear to work) rather than hoop it up, Saucony is always a comfortable and classically stylish option. Actually, you could probably still tear the courts up at the local YMCA while wearing them if your jump shot is on-point.

King Push x EQT Running Guidance ‘93 (11/27 - $200)

Before rapper Pusha T dropped his first sneaker with Adidas for last Christmas, a lot of people questioned whether he really deserved to have his own shoe and exactly how the company would capture his spirit in it. Once the first few photos leaked, the only question being asked was “How can I get one?” Last year, Adidas released one of their best-looking models in white, whereas this year’s King Push gets the all black everything treatment. Yeah, they were cool in white, but everything looks better in black.

BAIT x Bruce Lee x Onitsuka Tiger (11/27 - $120/$160)

If Bruce Lee were still alive, he’d be 75 this year. As such, a two-pair collaboration between BAIT and Onitsuka Tiger dropped today, and both are absolutely stunning. The blue Corsair Jeet Kune Do retailed at $120 while its yellow counterpart (the Colorado 85 Legend) was originally $160. Odds are, you’ll have to find them on eBay at this point, but there’s no harm in checking around online and in BAIT Chapter stores.

Yeezy Boost 750 “Pirate Black” (12/5 - $350)

Let’s be honest, you’re going to need either some serious connections, serious skill, or serious luck to land the next Kanye West shoe without paying a ridiculous amount of money (well over the $350 retail sticker), so maybe don’t count on this one unless you’ve got a grand or two to drop. Frankly, it might not even qualify as a “sneaker” as much as a “fashion shoe,” but it’ll be the most hyped release of the month either way.

Air Jordan XI “72-10” (12/19 - $210)

For those who don’t know, Jordan Brand tends to put out an Air Jordan XI (one of the most popular and iconic models) on the Saturday before Christmas in recent years. They tend to be announced early and available in pretty decent quantities to make sure that as many people can have the highly desired kicks under their trees as possible less than a week later. While that’s in no way a guarantee that you’ll get the “72-10” (the Chicago Bulls’ record during one of Michael Jordan’s most legendary seasons) model, if you do your research (find out where they’re releasing near you and online) and put in the leg work (be on the websites when they drop and/or head to the local stores slightly before they open), you’ll have a pretty decent shot at landing them.
