The show returns in April, and is HBO hinting that Jon Snow will return with it?

HBO announced today that Game of Thrones will be returning for its sixth season in April, and though that's not really newsworthy (it almost always premieres in April), what's interesting about the announcement is its poster...of Jon Snow.

As most of you know (if you don't, you should probably stop reading now and also climb out from beneath the rock you've been living under for the last few months), Jon suffered a brutal end at the hands of his "brothers" during the Season 5 finale. And though anyone who's ever watched GOT should know to never get attached to a character (because they all die terrible, horrible deaths), no one could come to terms with this loss.

Over the summer Kit Harington gave us hope that we may not have seen the last of our beloved Crow, as he was spotted in Belfast in July, which is where the cast congregates for the next season's table read, and hinted that the show would be a part of his life "for quite a while" in an interview with Humo in September.

While we've all been clinging on to any hint, no matter how small, of his return, today's revealing of the first Season 6 poster is the most solid piece of evidence to date. The graphic is a simple portrait of a bloodied up Jon. And it's glorious. Peep the poster below.
