From The Turtle Man to Black Flash, here are 5 super villains we think should make an appearance on the show's latest season.

With season two of The Flash premiering tonight, we’re eager to see who from the DC Comics’ Rogues gallery will make an appearance. Which costumed super-villain will the scarlet speedster take on this time? We have 5 bets about who we think Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will race against.

(Before we continue, it’s best we mention SPOILERS right away. I mean you had all summer long to catch up on the first season, but still let’s be respectful to those who haven’t. Now that’s settled, let’s continue on.)

The first season finale left us all in a doozy. Barry had a chance to go back in time and save his mother. But in the end, his future self told him not to mess around with this particular event. Barry went back to his present time and managed to get his ass handed to him by the much faster and stronger Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh).

Just when things were at their bleakest, Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) sacrificed himself in order to stop the Reverse Flash. Hold on a minute, who’s supposed to be the hero of this show? Anyways, Eddie’s good deed, which managed to obliterate the Reverse Flash from history, also started the end of the world. A rift suddenly formed in the space-time continuum.

Talk about getting back into the ring! After being down for the count, Barry realized he had to do something and save his friends. Putting his mask back on, the Flash ran straight into the wormhole, before all it had a chance to destroy all life in Central City. So who should Barry Allen fight when he cancels the apocalypse?

Mirror Master

You have to put Mirror Master in the lineup. After a scientific experiment goes awry, Sam Scudder unexpectedly finds a way to get inside his own reflection. Thanks to the looking glass, the Mirror Master can come up with an escape in a split second, while being everywhere at the same time. His mirrors can also become a gateway to other dimensions.

The Renegades

What if Barry and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) had to deal with a group of corrupt cops? And what if these officers of the law saw the scarlet speedster as the most feared criminal? The Renegades are a group of super-powered police officers, whose sole purpose is to place the Flash under arrest. Joe West needs a bad guy of his own to fight too.

The Turtle Man

What if there was a super villain who was meant to use his slowness? Back in the 1940s, The Turtle Man was a deadly threat to the Silver Age Flash (Jay Garrick), because of his calculating and meticulous planning. This super villain asks the Flash to use his smarts, instead of his powers. It would be awesome to finally see Barry use his CSI detective skills on the show.

Spin

What if there was another villain, that was just like Batman’s Scarecrow, who uses fear as his weapon. Spin uses his powers to manipulate people’s fears and turn them into reality. It would be interesting to see what Barry Allen fears the most? Is it losing Iris West (Candice Patton)? Or that fact that he couldn’t pull it together and save Eddie?

The Black Flash

Sometimes, even the superheroes have to face against their darker half. The Black Flash appears when someone is about to face death. Remember in Doctor Who, when Matt Smith played the Eleventh Doctor and his evil counterpart, Mr. Clever? It would pretty cool seeing Grant Gustin playing two roles in the same scene, as the Flash and Black Flash.
