The first weekend of the 14th annual ACL festival came to a close Sunday night in Austin, TX. Tens of thousands of festival goers graced the city's Zilker Park throughout the weekend to enjoy genre spanning music amidst views of the downtown skyline. Headliners included Foo Fighters, Disclosure, Drake, Deadmau5, The Strokes and The Weeknd and many local and up and coming bands got the opportunity to perform as well on the BMI and Austin Ventures stages.

More family friendly than the typical fest, a relaxed policy on bringing in lawn chairs attracts many families to stake out a good spot and relax the day away in the shade while taking in familiar and new tunes. Meanwhile, all the die hard fans are staking out their front row spots. We talked to 12 attendees about who they came to see and what restaurants in Austin's food scene we should be checking out on our next visit.
