Atlas Obscura recently took over Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery to host a special night of haunts they like to call "Into the Veil." The event allowed attendees to walk around the 478-acre grounds at night to enjoy scattered live performances and explore catacombs and crypts that are often closed to the public. 

The cemetery was founded in 1838 and encapsulates its own eerie air, which paired with Atlas Obscura's spooky performances caused chills down the bravest of spines. To celebrate the impending All Hallows Eve, we braved the night and brought a camera with us. Some of our favorite shots are below, but proceed with caution....
