It wouldn't be the first time the rap trio inspired J.J. Abrams.

Ello Asty is a "skilled though occasionally reckless" pilot for the Resistance, to be introduced in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars, according to the official Star Wars database. According to collectables fans, though, Ello may also be inspired by the Beastie Boys.

New pictures of its Hasbro Black Series action figure show Aurebesh writing on its helmet that reads "BORN TO ILL," which fans have interpreted as a reference to the Beastie Boys' debut Licensed to Ill. There is also the pilot's name, which could be Hello Nasty—the trio's 1998 album—without the "h" or the "n."

Plus, J.J. Abrams did reveal himself to be a fan when he featured "Sabotage" in his Star Trek remake.

See pictures of the Ello Asty action figure below to judge for yourself.
