Drizzy even said so himself...

Drake is a successful musician; there's not doubt about that. However, despite his fame, the Degrassi alum has never had one of his solo songs hit No. 1 on the charts. But he's hoping that's about to change, and Billboard's hinting it might. The publication recently tweeted about his latest single, "Hotline Bling," moving up to No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart and inching closer to that top spot, and with Drizzy hinting that the track's video will be dropping this week (though we're still waiting...), its release just might be the push it needs to jump his friend and collaborator The Weeknd's creepily infectious "The Hills" and reach No. 1 glory.

Drake posted a screenshot of Billboard's potentially prophetic tweet on Instagram late last night, admitting "If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind)." It also seems like the hip hop star's already celebrating a little, as he states "I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you...even if it doesn't." Check out the post below.
