He was introduced to the world of hip hop at age 14, making his first steps in rapping under the alias "Aprosopos" (greek for "faceless"). Soon he also got involved in beat-making using DAW's.

Later on he teamed up with local rapper and extreme sports athlete Alex Papas, better known as "Kapa Raw". In 2005 the two of them formed the hip hop duo X-Equipo. Since then they have released several underground albums and mixtapes, and shared stages around the country with pretty much every notable hip hop artist. In 2010 X-Equipo joined the recently founded indy label I AM HIP HOP, which has been their home ever since.

In the meanwhile, Bartoli took composition studies in Ionian University, developing an interest in avant garde electronic music. He also made some attempts in composing for media and contemporary music ensembles.

Deep, abstract lyrics on political and philosophical issues, complex wordplays and sophisticated rhyme schemes are some of the characteristics of Bartoli's writing. Musically he shows a taste for nostalgic melodies, dark harmonic textures, digital basslines and solid grooves.
