P.P.L.(E) was created & formed by Jae Monroe (vocals) in 1984. Various members played in the band from 1984-1988. In Oct.88 (A).P.P.L.(E). disbanded for about 16 years til t.v. celebrity Jerry Springer began to play their cover version of the classic Dylan song "Blowing In The Wind" in 2006 on his now defunct Air America talk radio show. Jae called into the show and was put on the air with Jerry who asked her to reunite the band. (A).P.P.L.(E). played their first 2 reunion shows in the summer of 2006 and has been going strong ever since!
