Exquisite singer, songwriter, musician, actress, producer, poet, activist and soon to be filmmaker, “AnOmali” is truly just that – an anomaly.

Hailing from The Philadelphia Mainline, the daughter of a Preacher and a Classical Pianist, AnOmali was influenced by every conceivable genre. It should come as no surprise that she has evolved as a captivating presence in the art world. She has the vocal styling of a storyteller, is a masterful and diverse songwriter and a skillful pianist who demonstrates amazing vocal range and control, as well as the ability to sing and merge any musical genre seamlessly from Alternative Rock to Jazz, Soul, Pop, Urban Folk and beyond…

Standing 5'10, this statuesque beauty, also a classically trained actress, uses her transfixing stage presence, intensity, sophisticated intelligence and surprisingly honest lyrics to create an atmosphere that engages both the intellect and emotions of her audience.

Drawing comparisons from Alanis Morissette and Janis Joplin to Mariah Carey, Chaka Khan, Phyllis Hyman and Rachelle Ferrell, this edgy, genre-fusing chanteuse, with her equally eclectic band, can set fire to any stage!

AnOmali has shared the stage with and opened for Ms. Patti LaBelle, Dionne Farris, Frank McComb, Jaguar Wright, Bilal, The Clark Sisters, Hezekiah Walker, is a regular feature vocalist of Jeff Bradshaw, and MANY more notable artists, including performances at "The Black Lily", World Café Live, Chris' Jazz Café and The Bitter End. Add to this a one month long booking turned into a one year+ engagement by popular demand at Warmdaddy's from 2009 - 2010 and continued shows at other noted venues throughout the East Coast, national festivals and conventions and it becomes apparent that she is NO stranger to dynamic performance.

One of her proudest moments was being chosen as the 2006 musical headliner for the BEBASHI Celebrity AIDS Gala due to her sensitive, community minded song “Why” which was penned in honor of a dear friend to put a face on HIV/AIDS for the masses who choose not to care, act or even see how this disease affects us all. AIDS/HIV education and research is just one of the causes this globally-minded Diva is passionate about. Her conscious lyrics and intensity will draw any audience in while her range, versatility & pure power are sure to give the most composed listener chills! She both knows how to woo and how to ROCK an audience to it's core!
