For my government class, I learned about the council approving the ordnance the permits recreational areas and golf courses to sell liquor. Based on my knowledge, I don't not really like the idea of having more places that's sell alcohol because it makes people access it more easily and alcohol can have harmful effects. Alcohol can have some harmful effect so to me it sounds like the town does not care about the alcoholics and problems that emerge but the revenue they can be getting from the golf course and other recreational areas. Even though I know that the council wants to make the town more populated and a more wealthy town, I still think the people's well being is more important than many other things.
