Since forming in the summer of 2012, the boys of Animal Shelter have been getting together writing songs with the influences of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Band of Skulls, the Black Keys and many other great bands. They recorded their debut, self-titled EP with BTownSound Studios in Burlington, Ontario. Animal Shelter released the EP on September 20th 2013 at the Casbah in Hamilton. Future plans include a full length album and getting ready to play the festival circuit next spring and summer. With the end of 2013 fast approaching the guys from Animal Shelter are looking forward for things to come and you should be too. 2014 promises to be a big year for these Hamilton rockers!
