Her great grandmother was a Soprano and both her grandfather (also an excellent tenor) and grandmother were painters in heart and soul, although thein family business took up most of their time. Angelique has travelled extensively across the world and lived amongst other places in Australia, Hawaii, Orlando, Monaco, Italy, France, Amsterdam and is currently living in Spain. Apart from being a Soprano, Angelique is also an Artist who compliments her artworks with poetry and speaks 6 languages: dutch, English, French, Italian, german and Spanish. Her vocal training started in Rome, Italy with her dear friend; Soprano and Neapolitan Princess Irma Capece Minutolo (who was married to the late King Farouk of Egypt) as her teacher and then followed in Verona for several years studying under vocal teacher Francesca Gibin, the wife of the late brazilian tenor Giovanni Gibin and then studying under Luciano Mandara, the pianist of the Conservatori and world famous Arena of Verona.
