ANDREA PADOVA WON THE J.S.BACH INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION IN 1995.
His last Washington performance (Bach’s Goldberg Variations) prompted The Washington Post to write"the pianist Andrea Padova turns sound into poetry. His virtuosity, sensitively managed, resounds through every measure".

With his first piano solo crossover cd “Landscape in Motion”, he received the prestigious Prize “LeVeneri” 2006 “for his capability to invent a language magically suspended between the power of classical music and the energy and freshness of Jazz”.

After the success of his second cd “Notes posted on the refrigerator” music magazine “Insound” named him “Best Italian Pianist 2008”. The New York Times enthusiastically reviewed his recent works: “…he writes in an accessible, freewheeling style".

In 2011 Stradivarius released “Arancio limone mandarino”, the third cd of his own piano pieces.

In 2012 EWE (Japan and Asia) and Stradivarius (Europe and U.S.) released his highly expected recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations.
