Founder, creator and owner Kelli Hand, aka K-HAND, is the very first woman to produce and create her (the) addictive techno sound in the late 1980’s/early 1990’s, as well as build her imprint, Acacia Records, in the city of Detroit during the early days of the primitive Techno sounds, stabilizing into the new, Kelli’s profound and highly regarded music continues to be heard throughout the world. Two decades later, we still hear and admire Hand’s innovative religiously raw contributions to this highly respected and sought after sound with the deep thumping bass of "Ready for the Darkness", "Global Warning" original, and storming releases from the infamous Wamdue "Higher", and "Deep Dreams" titles, (to name a few), on electronic dance floors around the globe. Her productions, as well as her intricately designed yet beautifully banging Djing sets are evermore admirable, and continue to enhance the reputation of this fine lady, who maintains her throne as one of the world’s first and finest female techno, electronic dance music artists today.
