Their first live appearence was in 1988 at the "V Olimpíada Rock", and by the beginning of '89 other shows soon followed.
First studio recording was made in Audiolab february 18th, 1989, the song was "Espectros". Money for that recording were obtained by doing TV shows, which led Kiko to quit the band.

In March Augusto Jupitér from the band NEXUS joins as bass player. In one of the Metal House concerts is where the group obtains funds for their second recording in june of the same year: "Hambre de matar”. In august Leo has to leave the country, who is replaced by Alex Fernandez (from PERJURY),

1991 led Maik to change guitar to bass and recruting a new rythm guitarist David Almonte. They performed at the club 'COANCA' with S.M.I. and PERJURY as opening bands.

By 1997 Maik returns from Argentina with the idea of reuniting the band. He meets with Portillo and Alex Fer, but the project does not materialize until Leo Ricobaldi returns to Santo Domingo and starts with two new members: Pablo Cavallo on vocals and Homero Guerrero on bass.

In 1999 rehearsals were in full motion and recordings were done with an extraordinary chemistry, releasing two CDs in the process: RETAZOS (2001) and the self-titled album ABADDON RD (2002). Two songs became radio favorites: "Perros en la orilla" and "En la hoguera de mi mente." The band celebrated their Fifteenth Anniversary by 2003, with a huge concert in the Patrick Hudson Hall of the Dominico Americano University. By the end of this year Pablo Cavallo decides to leave the band.

From that date until 2007 the band was on and off, and vocalist Jeremy Moquete came in to record two songs "Radioactividad" and "Aplastador", which were re-recorded with Omar Henríquez for the launch of ANIMAL BIZARRO in 2008. As expected, there were other musician changes: Alex Fer was replaced by Ariel Lantigua on drums, and Max Familia replaced Hector Carbuccia on bass.

By February 2014 the long awaited fourth album was released, aptly titled LA TRAGICA Y ETERNA MUTACION, featuring Maik Abaddon on guitar and vocals, Max Familia on bass, Ariel Lantigua on drums, and Miguel Gutierrez on lead guitar. It contains most of the songs that were not recorded during the 80's era, but with the distinctive new sound and style of actual ABADDON RD.
