Bel - DeciBel =
Trained in music technology, music law and sound recording. She first appeared on track with Blue Pearl (Butterfly Records) before becoming part of the dance act the Drum Club in 1991. She contributed to 3 of their albums and was part of their live act, with whom she did several tours the U.K, Europe, Iceland and Japan, playing along side acts such as the System 7, The Prodigy and Underworld.She was interviewed by MTV, Channel 4 and I.T.V was involved with the Drum Club's John Peel session for Radio 1
Bel went onto form 3rd Stream and launched Trixsta Records in 2002 with Ian.St.Paul (Land of Oz and Spectrum) and Gordon G, the main man behind the scenes of U.K hip-hop.
Mz.P - Studied classical music and saxophone for 4 years, at the Royal School of Music. Mz.P. Played in numerous bands covering a wide range of music and has featured as a session player on several tracks playing sax, flute, clarinet and keyboards.
3rd Stream's debut single 'Oh My Giddy Gosh' released by Trixsta Records, featured the U.K's finest rappers, heavy weight's such as Roots Manuva, Fallacy, Huntkillbury fynn & Lokek. The track received great reviews, much air play & was voted download track of the month in Hip Hop Connection magazine.
3rd Stream then had 5 more releases on Roots Manuva's label, Banana Klan/Trailblazors, featuring the vocal talents of dance hall veteran Ricky Rankin plus Jimmy Screech and The Extremists. They have also produced two tracks for Jimmy Screech's album 'In this Life', plus a track on the Extremist's album called 'Free'. Since then they have been involved in many projects collectively and independently. DeciBel has just come out of the studio recording 3rd's Stream first official album.
In 2014 3rd Stream will be releasing the new album, packed full of HUGE rocking beats, featuring some new vocal talents plus many of the UK'S leading rappers, singers …..with a few surprise guest artist's…..More info to come!
