About me:
I play upright bass - mostly bluegrass, but I enjoy other genres as well; jazz, country, gospel, just about any type of "older" music sounds good with an upright. (That's a '37 Kay M-1 in the picture, I've had it for about 20 years now.) I'm proud to say that I'm a member of the Kenny & Amanda Smith Band on bass and harmony vocals.

Over the past 15 years I've performed with the likes of New Vintage, The Grass Cats, Carolina Road Band, Donna Hughes, Chrystal Sawyer, The Gena Britt Band, Constant Change Bluegrass Band, and others I've probably not mentioned.
When I'm not at work or on the road playing music, I enjoy spending time at home with my beautiful wife Karen, working on my "collection of used cars", and visiting with my family, whom I love very much.

Who I'd like to meet:
I plan to meet my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ when the time comes, but until then I enjoy meeting people everywhere I go. It's one of life's gifts to get to know others and learn from them.
