Hey Clyde, I hope the rest of the tour went smoothly! Mitchell said the Port Townsend show was awesome. It was so much fun hanging out and dancing in Anacortes.
Hope to see you around more soon!

Listen to Hollow Earth this week for broadcasts of recordings from last years show..and tune in all weekend as we bring you some of the shows live!

About Carousel:
The Carousel Festival is an all-ages event celebrating the Northwest DIY creative community as a whole. They are attempting to bring together the creative forces that are the bloodline of our city and bridge these unneeded gaps in this wonderful, bright community. The Carousel Festival is a three-day event featuring 35-40 regional bands, film, workshops, and other arts, hosted at a handful of different DIY spaces. This years proceeds will go to support 2 different, but very similar local non-profits. Half will go to CARA (Communities Against Rape & Abuse) and the other half to the local anti-violence/self-defence non-profit, Home Alive. This year it will be happening on August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. You can contact them @ carouselfest@gmail.com

What more could you possibly want from a show? RAD out of towners (Best Friends Forever), music to make you wiggle (Oh Man!), "sparse homo pop love songs" (Your Heart Breaks), sweet acoustic guitarring (Whitney Ballen), and us (Blanket Truth) too!

C'mon! Why not, right? Sure it's a Wednesday, but it will definitely be worth your time.
I don't usually throw around guarantees, but I guarantee it !!!

THE URBAN ARTIST GROUP

Jul 25 2008 5:41 AM

Welcome to the Urban Artist Group family!

Be on the lookout for the Your Heart Breaks feature article in the upcoming Issue of: the Urban Artist Group presents...Sounds from the City Earth Underground.

Also, and lastly, our website recently relocated to a new onine neighborhood, or ghetto (as the case very well may be), which is decidedly a better overall setup, as well as more user friendly, etc...definitely better than a typical blogger page! And the link is...

http://www. theurbanartistgroup. webs. com/

And remember...

Music as ART! Music as LIFE! Music as RELIGION! And music as REVOLUTION!

Never let the poem end,

James G. Carlson
