Yasmeen was born in her native country of India. She converted to Christianity 20 years later from the Sikh religion that she was raised with as a child and many new age belief doctrines. She had an amazing encounter with Jesus Christ that changed her life. The Lord gave her a desire for worship through the music ministry. She was trained for 3 1/2 years by Dorinda Clark Cole at the Mattie Moss Clark Conservatory of Music in Detroit, Michigan. She has had opportunities for singing and sharing her testimony in numerous churches, conventions, and major venues not only in the Detroit area, but across the United States. Her desire is not to pride herself in her accomplishments but to allow Jesus to recieve ALL the Glory, Honor and Praise for who He is and His mighty works He has done in her and through her. He has shown her great mercy, compasssion, and forgiveness. The music that she writes is for the one who gave His life for her. Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
