Kama is the name the french producer Yannis Kamarinos took for his electro-house productions. Yannis is evolving since 1995 in the electronic music scene under different names such as Jaia, Even 11, or Altitudes, producing progressive, trance, progressive house, electro, and downtempo music. He released 3 albums, several 12 inches , as well as numerous tracks on various labels compilations, like Island, East West, Georges V, Tribal Vision, Wagram, Milan, Digital Structures, and many others.
He has remixed famous artists like the French singer Mylene Farmer, the Moroccan one Tyoussi, or Vibrasphere. He worked in mixing and additional production in several successful tracks too like the hit "Breakfast" from Balazko, or "Catwalk" from Benjamin Braxton & Neja.
His music has been also remixed by Minilogue, Da Fresh, Jimmy Van M, Damon Jee & Olivier Giacomotto, Zoo Brazil, Arias, or Pig & Dan for example...
Since 1997 he has been performing as a live act and DJ in Japan, Israel, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, USA, and all over Europe.
In 2005 he created the electro-house project Kama & Mc Gregor with his friend Mc Gregor and also the label Pumpz Recordings with his friends Balazko. He released as Kama on Electrochoc, Pumpz Recordings and recently Serial Records, with his partner McGregor.
