| About Yancey |

Don Yancey started a project in ‘97 with bass player, and close friend, Eric Thomas. After flip flopping with band members and set back after set back, the band was complete. In March of 2000, three individuals were brought together by their unwavering love for music. Nate, Eric’s brother, came into the practice studio only to fill in temporarily until Yancey found their permanent drummer. Only two practices with the band, Nate inadvertently found himself the permanent drummer. From that point on, they focused on writing, booking shows, recording, and touring. Their undying devotion to music and each other- Don, Eric, and Nate, consider themselves a family that is now known only as the cut-throat, indie-rock explosion, Yancey.
