I tried to get into your show at the Williamsburg music hall last month. I'm not 18. I had ordered the tickets in advance and was hoping they wouldn't ID, or there would be some sort of sympathy, or I'd accidentally run into a band member on the side of the road... I'm too something or other to have a fake ID. I knew what would happen, but I had to take the drive into Williamsburg and try. I cried to your music the whole ride home and it was a wonderful, inspirational night anyway. Thank you for your music. From September to March it was the only thing that I could comprehend. Anyway, bravo. See you the next time around.
I just wanted to thank you for playing Mount Pleasant a few weeks ago, even though the crowd was terrible. You put on a nice show, I enjoyed watching everyone's facial features contort.

Hi! Thank you again for playing. It was wonderful to see you again, and always puts me in a high place to see your faces as you recognize me. It's sweet. Caralee- I realized the difference; it's intimacy. However, with a full band it brings out another side of the music, this energetic fullness. Devin and Ches are excellent! Maybe people talking on their cell phones and skateboarding during your set effected it, too.. Jamie- you made your guitar sound like a saxophone. It's like forensic magic to hear all these things. The spring Break video was deeply moving. David- I read what you write and you're right. xo to all xo
