To the God who loves his
creation so much that
he sent his only son,
to live among us and to
take upon himself every
sin mankind has ever
acted out- to be punished,
tortured,beaten,mocked,
rejected,pierced,and nailed
to a cross,a horrific
death- to be given what
should've been mankind's
punishment, to die for even
those who still to this
day, deny his existence,deny his
love,and deny his cry
"Father, forgive them,
for they know not
what they do"
THAT's the hero I want

Today I was thinking Jesus on the cross was the most sorrowful time in history and yet at the same time the most joyfull. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay. Jesus turned tears of sorrow into tears of joy.
