We here at Wooden Man work under the simple philosophy that musicians have something in common with martial artists. The label's founders realized that the blood, sweat, and tears that go into a martial arts workout can easily be compared to trying to get listened to as an independent musician. After suffering many defeats and some surprisingly large victories in the arena of the free market with music, we have decided to be as stubborn as those martial artists that continue their training despite setback after setback for one reason only-- love of the art. And we do sincerely love music.
