Like their heroes Social Distortion and The Clash, Buffalo, New York’s own Wolf Tickets play thinking man’s punk rock at unacceptable volumes with unwavering conviction. Born in 1992, Wolf Tickets has seen many members come and go but has always and is still led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Malachowski, den mother of the hugely popular Joe Strummer Benefit & Tribute held annually at The Mohawk Place in downtown Buffalo (Chris also gives his time as a fervent volunteer for Strummerville). The bands finest lineup to date is rounded out by two former members of The Razzels, Russ Bickert on drums and Mike “Pooh Bear” Snyder on bass, and Brad on lead guitar. This most recent line-up is beginning to make heads turn on the punk scene, and have very recently shared the stage with such esteemed bands as Rancid, Murphy’s Law, The Supersuckers, The Aggrolites, Time Again, The Briggs and Westbound Train.
