“ Great read! This collection of works is very entertaining in that it covers a spectrum of topics and interests. It is a delightful blend of humor, fantasy and insight into real life issues. The works appeal to different moods as well as provide insight into the mind of the author. There are light-hearted pieces as well as spiritual and inspirational pieces. Each work has its own personality and this book is well-suited to readers with a variety of interests and those who think on different
levels.” –Jillian Zaorski, amazon.com (6/19/07)
“We have received a large number of quality submissions for this issue and the selection process was very challenging. Your entry, Solstice, stood out as a high quality creation. We look forward to publishing your piece in Mused - the BellaOnline Literary Review.” - Lisbeth Cheever-Gessaman - Poetry Senior Editor Mused - the BellaOnline Literary Review (12/20/07)
“Wolf LittleBear's Solstice verse is both lyrical and apropos.”- Jill Florio Editor in Chief (Mused Magazine)

Current Projects |
Some of the cool things I've been working on include:
"In My Life": This is the long overdue WWII love story that was tentatively titled "Love, Me" and set in Detroit.
"Under a Sunlit Sky": Another, much larger, collection of poetry and essays.
"Harbor Jokes": A mostly humorous, sometimes serious memoir of my days working in the mental health field and a commentary on the state of behavioral medicine in today's society
"Cafe at the End of the World": A social commentary in the form of a satire focusing on where we are as a species and where we're headed if we don't grow up before we destroy the only planet we call home.
"A Ghost Hunter's Field Guide": This is a comprehensive and serious guide relevant to anyone interested in or actively participating in paranormal research.
Also in just an idea stage is a regular series of science fiction novels following the adventures of a paranormal research team
I also have several submissions out to magazines and literary contests for everything from short story contests to first-chapter contests, and poetry.
It's summer so I have to squeeze in some partying, too!" |

About me:
Enter The Deep Forest- Where Mind, Body, & Spirit Converge
You're on the website for Wolf LittleBear- author, poet, and slut to the written word!
Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web and spending some time looking around.
I formed my publishing company, Deep Forest Productions, and began writing in 2007. Some of my titles to date include Musings From a Candlelit Chamber, A Wolf in the Shadows, and The Power of Music Therapy. I have also been featured in such magazines as Mused: the Bella Online Literary Review and been the subject of a front page article in a local newspaper.
It may sound cliché but life really is a journey, with its many roads, its pitfalls, its triumphs, and its quiet moments of peace and reflection.
I do not limit myself to any specific genre of writing. I do poetry, fiction, and non-fiction on whatever topic tickles my fancy or provides my muse with creative inspiration. If anything you could say my genre is Life. The stories I write, and especially the poetry and shorter reflections range from depressing, to optimistic, to humorous and frightening. For that is life. Anyone who is happy 24/7 and has not a care in the world has not experienced life.
When not writing I am also a lead investigator for PRISM (Paranormal Research and Investigations in Southeastern Michigan). Yes folks, I am a ghost hunter!! Check out the PRISM MySpace for our picture and EVP database. The link is below. I've caught some weird voices in my day. The best is of a woman named Bridgette.
Professionally I'm always interested in meeting fellow writers, artists, or anyone involved with the creative arts.
On a personal level, and sure it applies to professional too, I'm looking for new friends, intelligent conversation and whatever else comes my way.
If you can shape it in your mind, you will find it in your life.
Be sure to check out my YouTube channel and here for more updates and news from the world of Wolf.
Kick your feet up, look around, and most importantly have fun while you're doing it!
If you like what you see send me a friend request. For security reasons (all the damn spam on MySpace) I have set this feature to ask for my e-mail address, which is wolf_littlebear@yahoo.com.

Who I'd like to meet:
A Short Biography
A Short Biography
I was born in 1973 right when the Stand At Wounded Knee was happening (wasn't AT the Knee but might explain the connection to Native thinking). I never did conform to normal ways of thinking whether politically (used to carry a Soviet Flag over my books when armed forces came to high school to recruit), religiously, or academically. In fact I was rather bored with the way school was taught. Einstein described the true Pisces as being both scientist and mystic. That would be me. Most of the time I just like to think shit up.
While others are content to "have" a religion, I choose to "practice" Spirituality. I'm very shamanic in what I do and
believe, borrowing common truths from Native American and Celtic thinking, add in some Buddhist principles and mix it up a bit. As a result I rarely use my legal name, Raffaele, outside of work. neither it nor the culture it derives from has any meaning for me. It's just simply not who I am inside. In fact, when people ask what nationality I am I reply "Terran" which simple means "of the Earth". Most people outside of work know me as Wolf LittleBear. As anyone who's ever put together an online profile knows, we're all way too complex to whittle down to a profile page. My life's an open book, just ask and you'll quickly get to know me. I'm quick with a joke or biting sarcasm, but I'm also the perfect shoulder to cry on.
The most defining moment of my life happened in July of 1989. I spent a month in the former Soviet Union as a Youth Ambassador. There were 30 of us from the Metro-Detroit area, one from Salt Lake City, Utah, and 3 adults. In each city we had a summit meeting with kids from that city.
Now you must understand that everywhere we went we all lined up and took group photos in front of all sorts of buildings we visited. Try to imagine 30 cameras clicking. One incident will always be with me. I tell you, you can't put into words how it feels to stand in Red Square, in front of Lenin's tomb, on the forth of July. We were taking the usual group shots and a crowd started to form around us as we started lining up the cameras. Before we knew it we were singing the national anthem and waving American flags. The crowd got bigger; we got nervous. Armed guards made their way to the front of the crowd and we're like, "oh shit". Next thing we knew they were picking up our cameras, taking pictures, and posing with us. One guard picked up a camera and started to take our picture then handed it to someone in the crowd and posed with us.
That was so long a go, but seriously, not a SINGLE day has gone by that I have not thought of that trip or briefly relived a memory.
I have a degree in psychology and spent the last 10 years working at various mental hospitals and group homes throughout southeastern Michigan. I am finally living my dream as an author. I have three books in print and several projects in the works.
