I used to say that I like any kind of music, as long as it's good. But as many of us know by now, that's not true. I don't like country, flat out. I haven't heard any good rap or rhythm and blues in so long that I'm beginning to think that those songs aren't being made anymore. My tastes tend toward good old fashion rock & roll and alternative. I sometimes wish metal evolved with me, but we just don't see eye to eye much anymore. Staying away from a long list, here are some of my favorites: Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Tool and A Perfect Circle. On the international side, I found a new love in Denmark: Kira and the Kindred Spirits.
Movies
Batman Begins, An American Werewolf In London, Alien and Aliens (didn't care so much for the last two, but that reminds me...) Delicatessen, Citty og Lost Children, American Beauty, Requiem For a Dream, Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, Stargate, Dead Man, Garden State, The Crow just to name a few.
Television
Not so much anymore. Is there anything good on nowadays? By the way, I don't have cable or anything of the like.
Books
Rule books and source material for Vampire, Werewolf and Changeling from White Wolf games. The fact I haven't actually played or run these games in quite some time doesn't make them any less enjoyable to read. They give my imagination a jump start, when I need it. As do the following authors (who I have been getting to know better of late): Emma Bull, Neil Gaiman and Charles de Lint. I do enjoy the modern fantasy books. Especially, The Good Faeries of New York. I also enjoy a good script or play; Tom Stoppard comes to mind. And while I'm not too big on non-fantasy type fiction, I am big on Tom Robbins.
