I have been playing on stages in Austin, Texas since I was 12. I have had the opportunity to perform shows with countless artists including: Willie Nelson, Allman Bros, Brad Paisley, Neil Young, Dave Matthews, Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley, Gary Allen, Big $ Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Matisyahu, Counting Crowes, Guster, Derek Trucks Band, Los Lonely Boys, Pat Green, Merle Haggard, Kevin Fowler, Billy Joe Shaver, John Mellencamp, Doug Sahm, Diamond Rio, Jerry Jeff Walker, Reckless Kelly, Craig Morgan, Roger Creager, David Allen Coe, Alvin Crow, Sammi Smith, Ray Price, and many others.
I worked from ages 20-23 for ZZ-Top Producer and Manager of 37 years, Bill Ham in the greate state of Texas, touring as guitarist for a pop/country outfit. I also performed session work on demos and recorded my own demos at his studio during this time.
I taught at a music school for 5 years, having taught 100's of students on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, vocals. I currently work for the lead singer of Skid Row, Johnny Solinger as bandleader/guitarist. I currently work for Pauline Reese and recorded guitar/dobro on her new album. I also front the Will Knaak Trio and play acoustic shows featuring my original music.
