"Glorious. This is a strong start for a band who have a bright future ahead."
KKKK - Kerrang!
“Blistering multi- layered experimental rock that incorporates so much more than your average metal band.”
– Rock Sound
“This hard hitting quintet incorporate stop start sensibility before building to large anthemic choruses. As well as some strung loose bass there’s some meaty guitars and great vocals.”
- Metal Hammer
’‘This is balls to the wall, proper rock & roll! It’s blistering stuff and it rocks in all the right places. Makes me want to pick up my guitar and rock out”
- XFM’s Eddy Temple Morris
’’Blistering riffs and charged vocals make this one of the must have releases of the year. Scoop this release up before it becomes a collector’s item.’’ - Notion Magazine
’’You are left hankering for more far too soon. Still, that’s what the repeat button was invented for.’’ -Burn Magazine
"Potent, engaging and more importantly, relevent. Mixing the jagged guitars of Helmet/ Quicksand with the moody grunge of AIC and the metallic space-prog of Cave In."
- Rock Sound
"When Gravity Fails are definately worth a punt"
- Classic Rock
“When Gravity Fails everything sounds stupendous.” - Black Velvet Magazine
“Relentless, taller than giant buildings riffs. “ - Organ

When Gravity Fails are a London based 5 piece, formed in 2005.
In February 2006 the band released their highly acclaimed self titled debut album on their own Astro:Nought Recordings label. It immediately picked up a 4K review in Kerrang, 8/10 in Rock Sound and was highly praised in Metal Hammer and Burn magazines.
Both Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson and Black Sabbath's Toni Iommi gave the album a lot of airplay on their radio shows. Bruce Dickinson had the band in for a half hour interview as soon as he heard the album, whilst Toni Iommi said that When Gravity Fails was one of the best unsigned rock acts in the UK, huge praise from the two rock gods. Also Ian Camfield from XFM's rock show was the first to recognize the cool heaviosity of the band and has been playing When Gravity Fails right from their earliest demos.
Eddy Temple Morris of XFM selected the band for Coke music's podcasts and chose the track Headlight to appear on Coke's first unsigned compilation UK:ONE. He hit the rock-nail right on the head when he described the band as "Balls to the wall proper rock and roll".
Coke Music also picked the track Headlight as the music for their summer internet ad campaign as seen on the Kerrang, Rock Sound and Drowned in Sound music sites amongst others.
The band have recently recorded a new EP “Born Again” with producer John Mitchell (Enter Shikari, Funeral for a Friend).
