Warm Ones is a noisy ATV for Tony Sackett's three-minute and under pop song grenades. Their style is best described as "violently catchy guitarpop." Covering fire is provided by guitarist Jim Tuerk, bassist Devon Bryant (both members of Brighton MA) and beatman Jon Adler. After months spent completing the latest record by The Saps (rythym section = Tony Sackett and Brett Whitacre, produced and recorded by Devon Bryant), the prison searchlight of their attention has finally been brought around to bear on the escaping lunatic that is the Warm Ones' debut recording. Various names have been kicked around, but we like "Pink Fist" the best. We are very pro-cake. And pro-Red Apple (the finest Polish all you can eat in town). Maybe we'll take you there if you come to our shows. We have been described as "hot" and "that was fucking awesome," so I guess that's all that matters.
TONY!!!! I love that I can just get online and hear your music! I miss watching you at Tulagi's, going out to drink some beers and listen to music, hearing you play in your living room after hours! How can I get a copy of some Warm Ones music that I can put on my Ipod (Bobbymilk and "Songs for Fat Kitties and their Friends" are getting a little overplayed!)? :)
I hope you're doing well, and I hear I'll probably be seeing you sometime next year at a certain someone's wedding! Can't wait!
sorry i missed yer show. i didn't get home from work til after nine...probably wouldn't have made it in time. ----------------- mark your calendar: June 18. send off picnic for brett since he'll be gone til august.
it'll be at wicker park. 7pm til park closes. bring a dish to pass and a non disposable plate. we'll supply the meat. a badminton set. boccie. and frisbee.
"business relations" might possibly be the best song i have ever heard -no, really. ...and i hate everything that touches my body, especially things that enter my body (like musical sound waves! ahh!! NOOOO!!!! take a hike, sounds. you aren't the boss of me!). Brett W gave me a disk of a bunch of your tunes and HOLY CRAP!, what a load of catchy stuff. you guy should be very proud of yourselves -you guys are special, tell your moms "you did it!".
