Vote Nixon has long since strayed from the punk roots that founded it in the summer of '02. After 6 months as a four-piece pop-punk group, the two founding members departed, and Conrad and Jackson, on guitar and drums, respectively, were left to carry on the tradition, and carried it on in a fun, yet largely ineffective fashion. In 2004, Jackson switched to guitar, Conrad aquired a bass, and Devin, longtime friend and jamming partner, lent his skin-pounding skills to the group. It became apparent quickly that a singer was needed, and eldest Beggs brother, Clark, was recruited. Clark eventually parted ways with Vote Nixon to focus on his efforts with The Evening News, and Jackson took vocal duties after a fruitless search for a fourth member. The Vote Nixon power trio was solidified.
And about the name, Vote Nixon doesn't mean it's Republican music. Each band member will probably give his own interpretation on the name.
Yes! finally the burnout! Now we have to re-record the burnout though that my car sounds badass, lol, kidding! The songs good though, my favorite next to Sycamore.

hey guys, hey i know this song, i have heard it before, remember like 2 hours after i met you guys(jackson and devin), we went to conrads house and jackson was playing(on the bass) that bass line you hear on this track and devin was playing guitar also playing that same bass line, it was awesome, i love this song, its amazing, great work guys, i can't wait for the whole album to be released, well talk to you guys later!!
