What is Voices Magazine?
Voices Magazine is a zine that was started in 1996. It was originally cut and paste-black and white but over the year it has grown to a full color online magazine. We have printed copies in the past but as of now we do not print copies anymore due the large expense. In fact we are looking for a full sponsor to team up with so that we can have a printed magazine...but until then you can see the full color issues online at voicesmagazine.org. Just go to that URl address and then click on the link at the top of the page that says "Current Issue". From here you can see what Voices Magazine really is. Enjoy! Then become a part of it!
Advertisers
As mentioned above we are looking for a full scale sponsor to offset the cost of printing and allow us to take this magazine to the next level. But in the meantime we are always working with advertisers off all types and we NOW have VERY reasonable rates. Please email us at info@voicesmagazine.org to get all the details. Remember we can work with any budget and we will advertise anyone -- bands, DJ's, Emcee's, companies, shows, etc. We have many ad sizes or you can just supply your own size too.
Our magazine gets viewed by people all over the world....advertise with us and see what kind of business we can bring you. For the price you cannot match what we can do. There is no red tape or complications, we just make it easy for you to have your product or service heard.
Where do we get our content from?
Well much of the content we have is obtained by people who contact us, who want to get exposed but a large majority is from us venturing out into the cyber world (or real word) and looking for people who interests us. Voices Magazine is just that....a magazine of Voices....YOUR VOICES!!!! So if you want to be featured then just message us and we will tell you what to do. Basically we need a short bio, pictures and a few other bits of information and from there you are all set. If your in a band and you want to send a demo them you can do so by sending it to the office in Denver:

If I have been featured in the magazine how can I get a copy?
Well as stated before we no longer print copies because of the cost. It is much easier to have people go to the website to see the magazine, but we of course want printed copies but until we get a sponsor then we are going to stay online. So if you want a printed copy then it's on you. We can provide you high resolution copies of just your pages or the entire magazine and you can have it printed yourself. If you want this then email us and we can email you the pages you'll need to give to the printing company. Or the other option is you can buy the copy from an outsourced company called LULU.com. This company prints on demand and can print a copy for you. We will have every issue set up with lulu.com but just a warning the price goes up a lot to use this print on demand service. A 110 page magazine can cost you $20.00 plus shipping. HELP US GET A SPONSOR....we can then make this magazine FREE!
How to become a contributor or a staff member.
Well right now Voices Magazine is being run by one person. We do have "Contributors" who submit things from around the world from time to time but the entire design and promotion of the magazine is being done by one person. So to answer the question.........YES we would love some help with this magazine! I am looking for people who want to help gather advertisers or sponsors. In addition we love to network and so anyone who you think might be able to help us somehow, well then please send them over. But if you want to write something for us, do a band or product review, submit art or anything else please let us know by sending us a line here at myspace or at info@voicesmagazine.org.
Our Goal is to have this magazine on the shelf with all the others and along with that we want this to become a full time job for the people who love to design and love the types of things we feature in our magazine. This means that as we grow we will need to have a full time staff. What better job could you have then working with great artists, famous people, musicians and more?
