   Video Game Cross-Stitch's Blurbs
About me:
Cross-Stitch: It ain’t just for Grandmas anymore!

One day, out of the blue, I decided to start cross-stitching (a form of embroidery), various video game characters and scenes. I think they’re neat. Some friends and acquaintances think they’re neat too.

I made this site for several reasons. Among them:

- To show my friends the various pieces I’ve done.
- To show complete strangers the various pieces I’ve done.
- To sell/trade custom pieces to friends/strangers.
- To make some cool new friends.
- To inspire future generations into trying out the timeless art of embroidery.

My pieces look good in a frame, but they also make great patches! Spiff up your jacket or bag with some video game goodness! Gotta represent!!

You don’t have to be my MySpace buddy, but lemme know if you like my stuff. It’ll make me super-duper happy.

If you're interested in a custom job, send me a game and a description of what you want, and I'll send you a pattern and an estimate. Keep in mind that I also accept interesting trades.

That's it. Thanks for visiting!!
Who I'd like to meet:
Video game aficionados, Embroidery aficionados, and any combination of the two. People interested in buying/trading for super cool video game cross stitch designs. Artists; particularly those that specialize in video game art or nerdy pop-culture stuff.

I don't see attending 32-Bit Genocide this year on your personal calendar. I hope you remedy that; I just wanted to call that to your attention, so you'll have time to stitch some lovely pieces for the show and all (alternately, perfect your "rocking out" technique). Also, weren't we going to find a Friendly's to hit up sometime? You didn't forget, did you?

Yep my lastname really is Cakebread, I've had my ups and downs with it but it's quite comfortable now.
I've been a bit lazy on the embroidery front just recently, but I did make a mario 3 T-shirt with fabric paints yesterday.
I'll post up a pic of it when I can be bothered to charge up my camera.
Loved your framed tanooki btw.
Great stuff!

why leo?! WHY LEO!? hahaha, leo is a BAMF (bad ass mother fucker) and god damnit, when i read the internet rumor that you can resurrect his dead ass if your entire party was at lvl 99 and you went to a special little island to fight a golden dragon to get the resurrection potion, that wasted a good 10 hours of my life!

As a matter of fact, I DO have the MM3 ending music on my to-do list, but I got a request to do "Gemini Man" first! :)

Your cross-stitch work is very, very cool! Thanks for the friend request!

Dec 1 2007 8:13 AM

I just read your bulletin about the craft fair! Good luck (good luck? break a leg? break a leg that's not yours? um...) tomorrow; I'll doubt you'll need it though. It looks like all the coolest western Massachusettsers (you SO made that up and it hurts my brain) will be in attendance, & I'm sure they'll be able to correctly identify your pieces. Be sure you make & bring enough eggnog! :D (On a related note, I just had THE most delicious eggnog from Wawa. Is yours better than that?)

Purchased yesterday in a fit of "zomg I don't want to buy these just yet but I'm worried they'll go out of print and I'm not trying to pay an exorbitant amount of money on eBay later"...

- Growlanser: Heritage of War Special Edition
- FF Tactics on PSP
- Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles on PSP
- Front Mission DS

I saw some game called "Master Chef" that looked like a Cooking Mama rip-off and I was tempted to get it, but Cooking Mama 2 should be out shortly. I didn't really like the Wii version; did you ever try it?

I can't wait 'til I can kill those stupid Phantoms in PH... I'm gonna be all, HA TAKE THAT ASSHOLES!!!111 and seriously ghetto. :3

No. I'm quite sure I meant what I said... hookshot. I don't know what this "grappling hook" nonsense is supposed to be. And the LTP shooting range > PH shooting range. Hamburger Helper hands for the win, Mr. Video Game Cross-Stitch!
