In search of the answers through music and arts. Listening carefully to my friend the ocean for advice and trusting God for everything else. For a living, I produce music, audio and film. To live, I play with my friends and eat Sushi.
Er...OK, let me explain, I am a Music, Audio and Film Producer. I have had the opportunity of working in a multitude of projects with some of the most relevant productions houses including Warner Brothers, Disney, Universal, Sony and Pixar, to name a few. Mostly, I do the audio Post-Production tasks of mixing the sound in Dolby Digital for the theaters that you go on Sunday evening, the DVD edition you buy in Blockbuster or the TV Broadcast you watch. I produce the sound for the different languages and territories that they are released.
This also includes many times the Sound Design of the movie (Audio FX and Foley) and a Music Score. Lately, I have been involved also in Video Editing doing projects for TV (The Discovery Channel, Chevrolet Commercials) and Film Editing, like the work I did for Colombian Director Victor Gaviria, which I'm really proud of. The movie received 13 International prizes, including Best Picture, Best Actor at the Miami Film Festival 2004, Best South American Movie at Toulouse Film festival in France 2004, Best Director at Cartagena Film Festival 2005,and Best Latin-American picture at Ariel Prizes 2005. For this movie I did everything from the Film Editing, to the Music Score, to the Audio Post and it was a really exciting and growing experience. Also since music is my biggest passion, I included some of the music for TV commercials I've done for several great brands like Converse, Coke, Samsung, Trump Enterprises, Gastby, Subway, Best Buy etc. Also in the "Videos" section, a clip with Spanish Megastar Juanes, from a TV show we did in Miami on 2005. Last but not least, as a gift for the Classic Rock lovers, here I posted three FIREBALL videos from The House of Blues 1999 in Los Angeles, our tribute band to the music of Deep Purple.
Over the last few months, I also joined "Smokin", a tribute to the music of the band Boston, which I'm really enthusiastic about since it gives me the opportunity to work splendidly in keys and guitars. Check out some live clips in my video section. Enjoy!
