Victim Of Pain is an Old School Speed/Thrash Metal band that has been playing together since the mid 80’s. The band is made up of five close friends, which is why we lasted as long as we have. Formerly, Hell On Earth, Victim Of Pain was formed in Queens, NY in 1987 by Angelo Rivera, Andy Prezioso, and Chris Ramsay. We started out playing old Overkill, Slayer, Nuclear Assault, and Cro-Mags songs, while trying to arrange Angelo’s riffs into actual songs.
After a few line-up changes, a few break-ups, and Chris moving out of state, Hell On Earth lay dead for a few years. Now Chris is back, and the current line up, which includes Angelo Rivera(Guitars), Andy Prezioso(Bass), Ivan Figueroa(Guitar), Philip Reed(Vocals), and Chris Ramsay(Drums), Victim Of Pain has become a more focused band. We are taking everything a hell of a lot more serious now, writing new material, playing more shows, and recording a new cd. Our style has changed a bit, but it is still the old school speed metal of the 80’s.
