Veritas Films's Interests
General
Filmmaking, Horror Movies and Magazines, Haunted Attractions (running them and attending them), Horror Comedies, and running my own independent film company!
....
Music
Disturbed, Johnny Cash, Queen, Shallow Palace, Rob Zombie, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Flyleaf, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Firecracker Jazz Band, Linkin Park, Godsmack, Gnarls Barkley, Goblin and of course the official band of Veritas Films: Lime Green Orgasm. Plus a lot of love for the bands of Set in Stone (Dead7, Black Ritual, Nails of Burden and the rest- check them out).
Also here is the FIRST music video by Veritas Films. It's for the most awesome band Dead7 (which you can hear on the soundtrack to Daylight to Dark btw). It's for the song "Fold Your Hands." Check it out and let us know what you think.
Our short films include "The Roommate" and "Hell-d Up."
Also our first feature length film "Daylight to Dark: Vampires vs Humans vs Zombies." In Production we have Cheap "B" Horror Movie. Also in pre-production are the following films:
BeelzeBubba, Requiem Under a Harvest Moon, Veritas Vixens vs The Living Dead, Daylight to Dark 2: Dark to Daylight "Vampires vs Humans vs Zombies...vs Werewolves, The Roommate (feature), Hell-d Up: The Look of Fear, The Proposal, The Veritas Volumes (Horror-Comedy Edition) and Gypsies vs Carnies.
But I must say that the first feature film from Veritas Films is looking GREAT!!! Check out the site at Daylight to Dark's Official Myspace Page
Also Daylight to Dark is available on Veritas DVD @ Earshot Records in Veritas City. Swing by and pick up a copy. Their website should give you all the details on how to get there. http://www.earshot.com/
.. - Get Your Own .... - Get Your Own
Also I'm a big fan of my man Chuck Williams and his film Darkwalker. He's on my top friends list so you should check him out. I FUCKING LOVE this movie guys...there is even talk of a sequel. And if they do I totally want to work on it. It's officially Veritas Approved.
..
Television
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is the greatest show of all time. Angel is second. Then of course Good Eats, Iron Chef America, The Mighty Boosh, Attack of the Show, X-Play, Myth Busters, Ninja Warrior and the Masters of Horror. I don't watch too much tv.
"These Endless Days Are Finally Ending In A Blaze."
So far as Veritas Films is concerned though we have plans for some television. In early pre-production we have "Zombies In Charge" by Josh Cantrell, and "The Key" and "The Hunter Chronicles" by James "The Truth" Moser. The first is set up for a limited run and the later for pitching later in the future.
Yeah We LOVE Joss Whedon: Which Buffy creature are you? .. a slayer You're brave, poweful, strong, and independent! Good job! You would love to change the world, but there is only one of you. If you can control your temper, and find the golden middle between bravery and stupidity, you'll be fine
Make Your Own Damn Movie by Lloyd Kaufman, The Collected Works of H.P. Lovecraft...recommended by Stuart Gordon, Game Informer Magazine, and of course Fangoria, Rue Morgue, and Haunted Attraction Magazine. Dammit magazines count to me!!!
Also in the works is a Gothic love story involving Hell written by Malecai Church. This could be our first foray into novels. Malecai is one helluva writer.
Also, stay tuned for our attempt to make a comic book. It's somewhere in between X-Men and Heroes. It's completely different as the art work will be a different turn ENTIRELY. Expect a lot of depth and, as all things are in Veritas Films, nothing will be as simple as black & white.
Teaser trailer for Daylight to Dark 2. Check it out. It's "Veritawesome"!!!
Heroes
Captain America. Spider-Man. Hellboy. Lloyd Kaufman. Rob Zombie. Kevin Smith. Joss Whedon. Angel (He's pretty deep). Guillermo Del Toro. Trent Haaga. Johnny Cash. Jigsaw. My parents. George Romero. Chuck Williams. And any independent minds hard at work around the world. Art should be given back to the people from whence it came. These are the principles that we are founded on and shall continue to fight for for years to come.

BEST FEATURE COMEDY @ Action on Film Festival (nominee)
5 out of 5 STARS – Filmthreat. com "jam packed with genre geek droolworthiness – zombies, ninjas, comic books, Lloyd Kaufman ... nerd vengeance and a vicious dark comic streak reminiscent of teen suicide comedy "Heathers." "The Art of Pain" has cult classic written all over it. "
