Approximately 6'2" with no hair, manly muscles, and no known facial features due to a fettish for brimmed hats, Vax is the only alien we know of. Our band, named after the man himself, is merely a tool used by Vax to try and save this world from the clutches of formulaic pop music and other musical monstrocities. Although usually shy and reserved, Vax is unusually intense when teaching us his music and how he wants it to be played and sometimes can become quite angry. Just ask Alan about the corallation between playing out of tune and the large bruises on his elbow.
Not much is known about Vax's past. He doesn't like to talk about where he came from very much, although lyrics to some songs tell of his many adventures and of his political beliefs.
His music reflects that desire for something new and exciting. Skipping between genres at a breakneck pace, often in the same song, Vax always keeps us interested in his new compositions, and hopefully his work will have the same effect on you.
This Saturday the 26th at the Blvd.

Local Chords... The Final Countdown! Tuesday, January 1st at 10 pm
Local Chords needs your help! Send us your favorite local song(s) of 2007 and you will be entered into a drawing to win a prize package featuring a bunch of cds from local artists and other goodies. Then, tune in to KYRS on 89.9 FM or 92.3 FM at 10 pm on New Year's Day to hear us countdown the top 20 local songs of the year.
The Rules:
1.) The songs must have been recorded and/or released sometime in the year 2007, and the band/artist must have been based in the Spokane area. However, it's ok if they recently moved away. (i.e. Cyrus Fell Down, The Globes, Hockey, etc)
Howdy. Just wanted to wish you guys luck tomorrow and hope you sound as good as you did at the Empyrean. I'll be sad not to see you all play together anymore, but I'll still be up to my neck in Adam's jazz guitar--so no worries. ;) Have fun!!
you guys are purely ninja like by hiding messages in in your lyrics. I will miss the band and music when you have to stop playing together!! i hope this makes you feel good about yourself. oh and i love the songs especially cowboys vs ninjas.
