User Friendly is an awesome band out of the Quad Cities area of Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois. They play a wide variety of music including Classic Rock, Blues, R&B, Hard Rock, Funk & Country from the 70's, 80's, 90's and a few current hits.
Formed in June of 2006, they already have a regular following of fans and every time they play more fans jump on board. Singing most of the lead vocals and playing his thumpin' bass is Steve with his powerful smooth as silk voice, the incredible rock and blues guitar rifs of Burdette Pettit makes you wanna get up and dance, the hard driving lightning fast "double bass" feet of Kent Hendrix on the drums makes you wanna scream "HELL YA!" and well.... there's Joan.. if she isn't singing a kickin' lead, shakin' her tamborine or singing a background harmony, you'll find her out on the dance floor shakin' her moneymaker with the crowd. That girl just can't stand still when there's music playing.
Hey guys and gal – FGC’s got some great shows coming up in Iowa the next couple weeks. First up is the 80/35 Festival in Des Moines, where we’ll be playing a FREE SHOW on July 5th.
Next up is a 10,000 Lakes Festival pre-party at the Vaudeville Mews on July 11th. Win tickets to the festival and enjoy a headlining set by FGC!
And finally, we swing over to the Iowa City area for the 5th Annual Camp Euforia on July 12th.
